The road to becoming a freelance copywriter was not straightforward for me, but with hindsight, it really should have been!
I have always loved to write, and have received many compliments on my writing over the years. In the past, I wrote book reviews for a local newspaper column. Also, for a time I had my own blog on the trials and tribulations of being a mother. I was an audio transcriber for 13 years, which I enjoyed very much. However, whilst this role made good use of my attention to detail, spelling and grammar, it didn’t give me the opportunity to use my creative skills.
I can’t believe it took me so long, but I finally decided that copywriting was what I really wanted to do with my life. Therefore, in 2019, I took the leap to start my own business as a copywriter in Wigan. As a mother to three young children, being self employed fits in much better with family life!
Freelance Copywriter in Wigan With Proven Results
I’ve been self-employed as a freelance copywriter in Wigan for over four years now. Over this time, I’ve built strong relationships with clients from a wide range of industries across the UK.
These industries include (but are not limited to) web developers, electricians, craft businesses, beauty, mental health, and much more. I think my most (ahem) interesting client so far has been an international escort agency!
Thanks to my web developer husband, I have a very good working knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO). This helps me to get my clients their desired results, which usually include appearing higher on Google’s search listings, more leads and, of course, more sales!
So, if you need a freelance copywriter in Wigan to write content for your business, please get in touch. I aim to always respond to messages within 24 hours.
