Just thought I’d do a bit of an update on some of my recent content writing projects.
As a freelance copywriter in Wigan, I write copy for a wide range of industries. I love the diversity – I could be writing about financial services in the morning and mental health in the afternoon. Come to think of it, those two things are more closely related than I realised!

For the past year or so, I’ve spent most of my time writing for a digital marketing company. They need regular SEO content writing for their clients to generate more leads and sales. The companies I write for on behalf of the digital marketing company include a shed manufacturer, a security provider, a company supplying skincare supplements, a kitchen manufacturer, a roofing company, a staircase designer, an estate agent and a jewellery business. Told you my clients were diverse!
My favourite of these is the jewellery company, as the tone of the brand allows me a little more scope for creativity. However, I’m happy to write for absolutely any industry. I’ve been advised to niche down by several business coaches, but I enjoy the variety too much!
The content I write for my clients is as varied as the clients themselves. I write home page content, blog posts, area specific pages, case studies, articles, brochures, leaflets, straplines and much more.
Recently, I’ve been approached by several new potential clients. All of these clients are building whole new websites, and need professional content writing to sell their services. Watch this space, and once these projects are completed I’ll pop the details in my copywriting portfolio.
